What are allergies?
Allergies occur when your immune system reacts to foreign substances or irritants, (also known as allergens) such as pollen, bee venom, pet dander or some food that doesn’t cause a reaction in most people.3
The severity of allergies varies from person to person and can range from minor irritation to a potentially life-threatening allergic reaction, anaphylaxis. While most allergies can’t be cured, treatments can help relieve your allergy symptoms.³
